PCT is proud to present Come From Away this winter—an unforgettable true story of humanity, generosity, and connection in the face of the unexpected. The story is not only true, but it's accessible. Our director went to Gander, Newfoundland to see the places, and meet some of the people in the story, and the results were inspiring.
Spending six days in Gander, Newfoundland, and neighboring communities including Appleton, Lewisporte, Gambo, Glenwood, and Norris Arm, Jeff immersed himself in the real stories behind the musical. Through more than 60 hours of interviews, he connected directly with the people whose lives inspired the show—gaining insight, nuance, and authenticity that will shape every moment on our stage. These conversations included Oz Fudge, Beulah Cooper, Diane Davis, Bonnie Harris, Claude Elliot, Janice Goudie, Brian Mosher, and many others.
Even more exciting, Brian Mosher will be joining us for opening weekend, February 26-28. Audiences will have the rare opportunity to engage with him through talkbacks, Q&A sessions, and special surprise events that bring the story beyond the stage and into real life.

For our director, this story is also deeply personal. Like so many, he remembers exactly where he was on September 11, 2001—but his connection goes further. Having lived in New York City and worked alongside artists in Hampton Roads who were here on contract but from the city, he experienced the impact of that day in a profound way. He lost friends in the Twin Towers, had a close friend in the Pentagon, and one of his dear friends—a fellow performer from his early theatre days—was a flight attendant on United Airlines Flight 175. That lived experience brings an added layer of care, truth, and humanity to this production.
This is more than a musical—it’s a shared experience. Whether you’re drawn to powerful storytelling, uplifting music, or the chance to witness history through the voices of those who lived it, Come From Away promises to be a moving and meaningful event for all.
Join us this winter and be part of a production that celebrates kindness, community, and the extraordinary connections that can change the world.
